Leather-upper footwear is the heart of Indian shoemaking. The long-established clusters around Agra and Kanpur in Uttar Pradesh, and around Chennai, Ambur and Vaniyambadi in Tamil Nadu, make formal shoes, casual shoes and boots for export buyers, from tanning through to finished pairs. Leather-upper footwear is where its makers are strongest.
We work in two ways. You can send your own design or tech pack and we have the pairs made to it as private label, or you can choose from a maker's ready range and have it made under your brand. Buyers worldwide are welcome. Depending on the request we act as merchant exporter, as agent for an established Indian producer, or as broker between buyer and seller, and we tell you which before we quote.
An order starts with a written request. We quote against it, you approve samples made to your specification before any order is placed, and production is followed up through to export documents with Velumic Industries as exporter. No prices are published on this site.

Can you make footwear to our own design?
Yes. Send a design or tech pack and we have samples made to it by an Indian maker, as private label. You approve the samples before any order is placed.
Can we buy from a maker's ready range under our own brand?
Yes. You choose styles from a manufacturer's ready range and have them made under your brand, with your labels, insoles and packaging.
How does an order work?
It starts with a written request. We quote against it, samples are made to your specification, and production and export documents follow with Velumic Industries as exporter. No prices are published.
Do you supply safety footwear?
Safety footwear is covered on its own page, supplied from makers' own certified ranges.
Which countries do you supply?
Buyers from any lawful market are welcome. The documents we prepare, including origin paperwork, follow the destination market.
