About turned parts
Turned parts are made from bar stock on CNC lathes and, for larger volumes, automatic lathes. Typical products are pins, bushes, spacers, sleeves, sockets and stepped shafts, made in steel, stainless steel, brass or aluminium.
The drawing sets the diameters, tolerances and surface finish. The maker sends a first article for your approval before the production run.
